Pro-life and pro-choice supporters across the state will fix anxious eyes on the U.S. Courthouse in Philadelphia today.
 
At 2 a.m. yesterday, just hours after President Bush announced that the ground war was underway, Cynde Smith's telephone rang.
 
"Hello, this is Phone Friend."
 
"A-hoo! A-hoo!" chanted a choir in tie-dyed attire designed to reflect African culture.
 
Instead of exercising or playing a sport in physical education class, some University students listen to lectures encouraging them to be active.
 
Some victims of a Feb. 12 fire that gutted two apartments and severely damaged nine others said they are upset with the treatment they have received from the manager of the complex.

SPORTS
 
The ice hockey club is ranked second in the country and it has a title to defend.
 
The ice hockey club (22-4-3) lost for the first time in the spring semester, splitting two games with Niagara College (9-10-3).
 
Phil Caraher was a busy man this weekend, busy and successful.

After two slow weeks on the road, the No. 2 men's gymnastics team returned home to put together its best meet of the year in a 281.85-275.55 win over Iowa on Saturday night.
 
Arizona State's Zeke Jones defeated Jeff Prescott at the NCAA Championships last year by countering Prescott's tilt.
 
Trailing Bloomsburg, 7-0, the wrestling team needed a victory at 134 pounds to stay within striking distance Saturday night at Rec Hall.
 
Setter Scott Miller's homecoming was almost turned into a disappointing experience by No. 14 Ohio State on Saturday night.
 
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Against West Virginia on Saturday, Susan Robinson proved once again why she is one of the finest women basketball players in the nation.
 
The women's swimming and diving team overcame a lot of adversity but couldn't catch an outstanding Harvard team and finished a close second at the Eastern Women's Swimming League Championships.
 
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Midway through the first half of the women's basketball game Saturday, forward Lynn Dougherty unintentionally gave West Virginia guard Lori Quertinmont an elbow to the face.
 
The women's gymnastics team defeated rival Pittsburgh, 188.6-185.35, Saturday night in Rec Hall, but again failed to perform as well at home as it has on the road.
