With 3:28 left in the first half, St. Joseph's forward Wendy Brink hit a six-foot baseline jumper and the Hawks had the lead at 24-22.
 
Guard Michael Jennings prefers the razzle-dazzle; forward Jon Dietz focuses on the fundamentals. Jennings played city basketball around Washington, D.C.; Dietz played country-style in the fields of Iowa.
 
The men's basketball team has played up to its potential at times this season. But more often than not they've played well below it.
 
ELIZABETHTOWN -- For the men's volleyball team, one victory over UCLA was nice. But two victories in three days -- that's inconceivable.

It was easy pickings for the No. 23 men's swimming and diving team Saturday afternoon at Shippensburg.
 
The men's gymnastics team fought through confusion and tough scoring to win a quadrangular meet at Temple on Saturday. The Lions competed in a format similar to last week's home meet in which performers compete at the same time and noise and confusion fill the gym.

The boxing club, despite having only three members with any experience, fought its way to some impressive victories and a solid 4-2 record in open competition at the PSU Invitational held Saturday night in the White Building.
 
The women's gymnastics team continued to perform better on the road than at home, defeating New Hampshire, 189.15-186.8, Saturday night.
