Brooke Smokelin and David Petrie edged into College Avenue traffic yesterday holding a sign above their heads urging motorists to "Honk for Peace."
 
Some graduates feel they are being cheated out of a fair education by undergraduates.
 
Last night the Undergraduate Student Government Senate rejected a motion to send a letter to President Bush, on behalf of Penn State students, condemning U.S. involvement in the gulf.
 
Instead of just joining an environmental interest group, some University students are making the environment their career.
 
For the first time in at least 11 years, fraternity men's grade-point averages exceeded those of independent men.
 
Some students fear that last week's state funding cut will make Penn State less affordable and less attractive, especially to minority students.
 
 
SPORTS
 
Troy Sunderland watched No. 2 Iowa leave the mat after the wrestling team tied the Hawkeyes on Saturday at the National Dual Meet Championships.
 
Just two days after losing its one-week stay in the top spot of women's basketball, the No. 3 Lady Lions are looking -- and anxious -- to climb back to No. 1.
 
Lincoln, Neb. is 1,090 miles from State College. However, for the women's volleyball team, it seemed a lot farther back in August when the Lady Lions first stepped on the court at Rec Hall to begin the 1990 season.
