Folk singer James Taylor will once again play Rec Hall, the University Concert Committee announced.
"An Evening With James Taylor" will take place at 8 p.m. September 16, with no opening act, said Macrina Martin, adviser of UCC.
"We were approached Spring Semester," she said. "His experience here was so successful he wanted to know if we were interested in having him again."
Taylor played at the University to a near sell-out crowd in Fall 1987.
Martin said Taylor could have played for more money at another school or arena but picked the University due to the positive experience he had his last visit.
Taylor's last concert was popular due to his widespread audience Martin said.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 27 at the Eisenhower Auditorium ticket office for those with Penn State Identification. Up to six tickets can be purchased per I.D.
On Tuesday, August 28 tickets sales will be open to the general public.
