Hurrah! Penn State recycles! For folks that have recognized the obscenity of a throw-away society, seeing containers say "RECYCLE" rather than "TRASH" is a relief.

In providing the recycling containers, Penn State has made it "convenient" to use glass, tin, plastic, paper and aluminum more than once. Yet, as I go about campus, I spy all of these "RECYCLABLE" products in trash cans and on the floors of classrooms.

I realize that people are in a hurry, that they have important things to do. But to quote the Beatles, "All you need is love." By recycling, we children of the Earth may give a little love to her, not to mention our children.

So please, give some affection, take a pit stop of love from the rat race we so excitedly swim in, and recycle.
