End homelessness

On Tuesday, March 20, the world's largest game of "Hide and Seek" took place. (About) 15,000 enumerators were sent out to find approximately 3 million homeless people, most of which are experts on finding places to hide so that they won't be harassed by people like Mayor Goode in Philadelphia.

In February, he sent the police to physically force the homeless into shelters which were full to capacity and arrest any who resisted. Homeless women fear the shelter system because they may have their children taken from them (the government claims them to be inadequate parents).

Can these people be found? Some people think the homeless should just come out of hiding so that they can be counted. Tell me, how do you let a homeless person know that a census is being administered? Send them a letter? Put an ad in the newspaper?

Some homeless shelter directors prohibited census enumerators from entering their establishments to purposely throw off the count so that there is proof that the count is inaccurate and will not be used against the homeless problem.

The fact of the matter isn't "how much of a homeless problem do we have?"; it's that a homeless problem exists! No matter if there are 3 million homeless or 100, there shouldn't be any!

This problem isn't something that should be solely up to the government to solve, it's up to the people! We can get rid of the national problem by pulling together.

And you can start by helping the over 600 homeless right here in Centre County.
