I would like to ask the supporters of the Lady Lions basketball team to place the controversy surrounding the home-court advantage on hold, at least for today. The Lady Lions may be playing in Florida, but they still need our support.

I am asking those who support the team to send a FAX to the Lady Lions at their hotel. If we cannot be present to cheer them on, at least we could demonstrate our support on paper.

The telephone number for the hotel FAX may be obtained on campus at the Center for Women Students. Downtown copy services may have a FAX machine and charges are approximately $4.95. The amount may seem exorbitant but the cost is only $1 more than the price of a student ticket to the NIT tournament.
