As newly elected president of the Undergraduate Student Government's Academic Assembly, Scott Golla said his primary goal is to incorporate all concerned students -- not just those involved with USG -- into committees this semester.

Last season, after a Penn State wrestler had lost his match against Oklahoma State, assistant coach John Fritz was so disgusted with the way the official had called the match he challenged the referee to a fight. Fritz is intense off the mat as well.
 
The men's basketball team is one of 11 teams with over 20 wins which will compete in the National Invitation Tournament.
 
BLOOMSBURG -- Going into the last weekend's Eastern Wrestling League tournament, 10 individuals were working alone for individual goals.

Squat Theatre's performance of the avant-garde "Dreamland Burns" was meant to portray city life surrealistically by using fantastic visual effects. Instead it relied too heavily on tricks and recreated the spontaneous storefront atmosphere Squat supposedly left in its old studio on West 23rd Street in Manhattan.
 
When the Contemporary Dance Company was formed seventeen years ago, it intended to provide a channel for the performance of modern dance by both students and faculty. The tradition continues at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, when the company brings its unique modern dance to Eisenhower Auditorium.
 
Germany. France. Africa. Just a few of the faraway, exotic places many students did not get the chance to visit during spring break, due to lack of money. Now, University students have the chance to experience these and other cultures free of charge and without leaving Happy Valley.
