University President Bryce Jordan will speak to the Graduate Student Association at 7:15 tonight in 101 Kern.
GSA President Ken Martin said Jordan may talk about recent issues affecting graduates, such as health insurance, child care, family housing, training for teaching assistants and parking. Jordan attends about one GSA meeting each year, he said.
Administrative Project Associate Beth Crowe said Jordan usually makes a few remarks before answering questions. She said GSA suggested some discussion topics for Jordan, but the president decides what he wants to address.
Martin estimated that about 75 to 80 students are expected at the meeting. An issue regarding social security taxes may be addressed, he said.
