The reporting of the Collegian reporters has made me mad more than once. This time, however, you have insulted my intelligence along with every other readers' intelligence.
A front-page story on Feb. 9 contained an ignorant error. The story about legislation to raise the speed limit to 65 mph in Pennsylvania stated that former President Jimmy Carter mandated a 55 mph limit in 1974.
I don't know about you, but everyone I know knows Jimmy Carter was elected president in 1976 -- two years later.
This blatant error is an insult to the readers, so come on and get your act together. You might even be able to put out an edition worth calling a newspaper some day.
