Since the average Penn State student is on the University Park campus only two years or so, I wonder how many students who witness the performances of the present occupier of the Nittany Lion costume realize that they are seeing one of the best Nittany Lions that Penn State has ever had.

I feel confident that my feelings are the same as those of many permanent residents of this area who have had the chance to compare this energetic, innovative and enjoyable version with most, if not all, of his predecessors.
