I was intrigued to read that a former Penn State student, Thomas Harrison, has filed a civil suit against (University President) Bryce Jordan.
Harrison's accusation that four University policemen detained him unlawfully and took away his driver's license is quite shocking. These allegations are serious, and if Harrison's story is true, disciplinary action should be taken against the officers involved.
I hope that the Collegian will continue to follow the story and keep the students informed. I would like to know more about what happened June 9, 1988, as well as what is contained in the rest of Harrison's four-page complaint against the University.
