Letter to the Editor
Different points
I have a number of questions/complaints: -- Why don't you make a statement concerning the Great Comic Controversy (Fusco vs. Hobbes vs. Peanuts)? If you put the matter to rest, some space on the Opinion page could be put to some other use. -- Pictures of kids on campus are nice, but do we need to see the same picture two days in a row? ("Toy Soldier" Jan. 25, p. 5 and "Forward March" Jan. 26, p. 7 . . . the picture of a tyke from Port Matilda sitting on the sculpture on the HUB lawn). -- Regarding the letter to the editor entitled "Housing Fair" by Sharyn Jacob on Jan. 26, why did you print this? Why? Ms. Jacob states, "While living in the residence halls, you are always close to a dining hall, thus making it easier to eat whenever you want." You've got to be kidding. -- I bet more Penn Staters know who Josh is than who the secretary of state is.
