In a half-page advertisement called "pro-active" by members of the Lesbian and Gay Student Alliance, the University continues its efforts to increase campus awareness of on-campus minority groups.
 
The University may hire a female physician as its head of the Department of Women's Health Care within Ritenour Health Center.
 
At this University 3 to 4 percent of the women are bulimic. These women may not be receiving the help they need to recover and lead healthy, productive lives. They may not be aware of the problem.
 
Continuing the Panhellenic Council's role in women's issues and improving relations between sororities are the primary goals of newly elected Panhellenic Council president Stephanie Redish.
 
While the state Senate approved funds that would double the amount of land to be sprayed for gypsy moths this spring, one Centre County official says the bill, or a similar House measure, may come too late.

The football coaches can't be found in their offices or on the practice fields now. Coaches around the nation are on the road recruiting, trying to woo promising high school athletes.
 
The women's gymnastics team's move into the Big 10 may provide a higher level of competition for the Lady Lions when it competes in the Big 10 Championships instead of the Atlantic 10 Championships, but the move will have no effect for the team in qualifying for NCAA Northeast Regional Championships.
 
While the rest of the Penn State athletic teams are busy reworking their schedules to include Big 10 teams, men's gymnastics coach Karl Schier can practically sit back and put his feet up.
 
The NCAA may not have passed Proposition 24 so quickly if Senator Bill Bradley (D-N.J.) had not placed so much congressional pressure on it, said NCAA Faculty Representative John Coyle.
