Join forces
A civil war has erupted in this country. This war is not between the north and the south -- it is between pro-life and pro-choice forces. I feel both sides agree that abortion is not birth control and should not be used as birth control. Abortion exists because of the lack of sex education and the limited availability of birth control and family planning counseling. We should join forces and ensure that our youth are educated on human sexuality and birth control. Let's be realistic ... telling kids to say no is not enough. We must teach them the options they have so that they can make responsible choices. While we stand screaming in the streets, cases of teen pregnancy and veneral disease increase. The side you choose is your decision. I hope that both sides of this new civil war will start working together so that one day the fighting in the streets will end.
