Listen to Josh

Who is Josh? Josh is a man with a powerful message which changed my life.

If one song could sum up my life during early high school, it would be "Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places," because that's exactly what I did.

My early teenage years were characterized by a series of sour relationships that nearly destroyed me. I was searching for intimacy and a sense of importance, but only finding bitterness and dissatisfaction.

During my senior year in high school, I went to a conference where I heard Josh (McDowell) speak. He gave a series of talks entitled "Why Wait."

Those talks, in conjunction with circumstances and situations which followed, changed my life.

"Why wait" was a simple message which was different than anything I had heard up until that point. The world delivered a very strong message which said "Don't wait," "Go for the gusto," "If it feels good, do it."

But the world never told me the other half of the message -- pain, hurt, loneliness, disease Josh did. "Why Wait" is a message of hope, love and security.

Now I know that there is a way to fill the emptiness, a way to be truly satisfied, a way to find true love and to be free. Thanks, Josh.

I strongly encourage you to come hear Josh (on) Wednesday, Jan. 31 and Thursday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium.

His message changed my life ... it could change yours too.
