While I agree with Ali Goldberg's (letter to the editor, Jan. 19) on the inane idea of reinstating Undergraduate Student Government Vice-President J. David James at a later date, I beg to differ with her opinion that Janyne Althaus "is a true-born leader doing only what is best for the students."

Of course! I know many true-born leaders who have been brought up for impeachment not once or twice, but three times by their peers. I also know many true-born leaders who have lied to their peers and been quoted as saying they would do it again.

Wise up Miss Goldberg. Either you did not pick up a newspaper last Fall Semester or you chose to ignore the events that occurred. Those of us who have followed Miss Althaus' term of office know that she is a liar and a terrible model for a president.
