Mr. Pedowitz's plug in the Jan. 11 edition of this paper proved just how enterprising a person he is.

Imagine -- instead of cluttering up the reader opinion page with stuffy old opinions, he turns it into a commercial with a flamboyant candor, written with such nerve that it just pulls you in and carries you away, covering as much information about the Penn State business fraternity rush in as many buzz words as possible! Bravo, sir! Are you giving away Ginsu knives with your offer?

Of course, since this is an opinion (section), I'll give the (Business Fraternity Council) the benefit of the doubt and assume it was merely their president's opinion that putting his ad in wasn't an inappropriate and unprofessional thing to do.

I commend whoever was responsible for the legitimate ad on page 17 and wish the BFC well in their Spring 1990 rush.
