Penn State Executive Vice President and Provost William C. Richardson is now the only candidate for the presidency of Johns Hopkins University and will probably be asked next week to assume the post at the Baltimore institution.
 
Students sweating over classes this semester can donate unwanted blankets and sleeping bags to Project Bag'It, a program to benefit the homeless in State College sponsored by the Association of Residence Hall Students and Residence Hall Programs.
 
Students with questions on how to apply for financial aid programs can direct inquiries to a toll-free hotline this month.
 
Three months after ruling Penn State a state agency for taxation purposes, Commonwealth Court said yesterday the University is not a state agency and does not have to disclose administrators' salaries under "right-to-know" laws.

Some of the most grueling wrestling of the season will be featured today and tomorrow when No. 9 Penn State battles for the the National Team Championship with seven other Top 10 teams in Hampton, Va.
 
After its big win against Temple in December, the men's basketball team went South to the Alabama-Birmingham Classic. So did the team's offense, defense and 5-0 record.

Winning this year's Nittany Lion Invitational will do two things for the ice hockey club: practically insure it of a bid to the National Invitational Tournament and bring the championship back home.
