NEWS
 
To commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Camp David peace accords, Yachad -- Penn State Friends of Israel, has declared this week "Israel Awareness Week."
 
With spring comes flowers, sunshine and baseball.
 
The Fifth Eastern Symposium on Building Family Stengths, a conference for professionals who work with families, will be held at the University this week.
 
Four-year-old Tiffany Williams says she likes to play dress-up. But she doesn't like the boys in her class.
 
Globally renowned activist, author and philosopher Jeremy Rifkin, will speak about environmental issues at 7:30 tonight in Schwab Auditorium.
 
 
SPORTS
 
Mistakes can make or break a team. The men's lacrosse team stayed on the favorable side of the mistakes Saturday on its way to a 19-7 win over Lafayette.
 
After wins over Navy and George Mason this past weekend the men's volleyball team was tired and sweaty. But it had fun.
 
After sweeping the doubles matches, the women's tennis team showed it had the upper hand in Friday's win over Syracuse, one of its biggest rivals.
 
Playing under blue skies for one of the few times this season, the rugby club opened its home schedule Saturday with a 16-10 victory over South Pittsburgh.
 
When rivals George Mason and Penn State face each other on the volleyball court, only two things are certain: the match will be exciting and the referee will dig in his pocket for a penalty card more than once.
