Undergraduate Student Government President Seth Williams yesterday announced his support for the Kendall Houk/Jeff Ballou ticket's bid to succeed himself and USG Vice President Amy Manderino.
Saying Houk and Ballou are "more qualified than I was when I became USG president," Williams said he would be "negligent" if he did not endorse the ticket. "The other tickets are anemic by comparison," he said. "Houk and Ballou are the only ones with a grasp of the University's finances."
Williams said other tickets have shown a strong interest in "playing patty-cake with the University" and are not as well-rounded as Houk and Ballou.
"Other people don't understand the issues," Williams said. "Kendall Houk and Jeff Ballou are the most prepared ticket."
The endorsement took place at a news conference Williams called at 1 yesterday afternoon in the HUB to review his term as USG president.
