Pucked off
Congratulations, Devin Biery. Your article on the Icers winning the ICHL championship was actually important enough to make the last page of the sports section. But I guess the sports front page stories of the Flyers tying, the suspended spikers, and the lady laxers winning, are bigger news to students than a Penn State athletic team winning its first ICHL championship. It's no wonder that public awareness of the Icers is near zero. How many times during the season were the players' statistics published? Call my memory poor, but that number ranks up there with the amount of times tuition doesn't go up at Penn State. (Once, if we're lucky.) How will the hockey club ever become a varsity sport if the club can't even get support from its fellow students? Let's start giving the Icers the credit they deserve. Chris Lassak
