Student trial
What is the deal? After looking at everything that's happened surrounding the "trial" of Travis Parchman, Jessica Stern, and Tim Fasnacht I keep wondering if the Office of Conduct Standards is in the United States in 1989 or the Third Reich in 1939. Where is the justice? And who is deciding what is justice? I know that I didn't have any say in how discipline was going to be handed down around here. This isn't high school with the principal and the disciplinarian any more. This is "higher education." And I hope that that the students and faculty at this University have the good sense not to sit back and take this kind of abuse. Abolish OCS! The students and faculty should decide how their "government" in Old Main is going to constitute justice. If democracy is to be kept alive and well in the U.S. we need to fight for it. Karl Kockler
