The National Organization for Women's Pennsylvania chapter declared a "state of emergency" over a U.S. Supreme Court case which could be used to overturn Roe v. Wade, the case which established women's rights to abortion.
 
Some students at the Circleville Student Farm are opposing a College of Agriculture plan to restructure the hands-on learning center, saying the plan will hurt the concept of a student-run farm.
 
Representatives from the Centre Region Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Centre County Board of Commissioners and the Centre Region Planning Commission met last Thursday at an open hearing to form a cohesive policy on future road improvement in the area.
 
The University needs to solidify its efforts to increase cultural diversity here by implementing more minority-related programs, positions and groups, a team of social scientists stated in its assessment of the University's climate for minorities.
 
In an attempt to combat intolerance on campus, the Undergraduate Student Government Senate last night passed a resolution allowing the USG Supreme Court to revoke the charter of any student organization found guilty of an act of intolerance.
