Duck comments
As a young mallard, I was extremely offended at the referral to a man portraying a duck in a shooting gallery in a Collegian photo in Wednesday's issue. My friend who is a stout Peking also agrees with me that the duck race has been maliciously attacked by this photo. We feel that the time has come for the DASGA (ducks and small game association) to be represented on the USAB. Up until now we have been treated with kindness and respect by the citizens of State College. We have never complained about the lack of duck ponds on campus or having to share our habitat with the vicious squirrels. We would like to thank Brian Bell and Dan Hodges for their support in our cause. They stated that comments made about one's race, creed or political beliefs should not be used in a derogatory manner. WE COMMEND YOU! Fran Taloricco
