Against abortion

In response to Christie Straub's opinion . . . a fetus, whether viable or not outside of the mother's womb, is an already-formed human, still growing and developing. And the exciting thing is, it doesn't stop after it is delivered!

It's ironic how Christie has written this article in favor of aborting unborn fetuses when she, herself, could have been another unborn statistic.

Concerning women, Christie is forgetting that there were strong social reasons behind abortion in the past.

Almost twenty years after Roe vs. Wade, we now have the facilities to accommodate unwanted babies, crisis centers for those in need of help, welfare programs, medical technology and life-threatening situations (which are not very common), and . . . the acceptance to society!

I don't personally recommend bombing as a means to counteract the abortion of innocent lives; but just because the protesters advocate pro-life by unfavorable means doesn't justify the "act" itself. And it shouldn't be -- and is not -- a relevant reason to discard the humane principles underlying abortion.

Christie Strub said, "The arguments for legalized abortion are many and logical." That's just it.

Life isn't something with which we can deal by means of a philosophy so cold and insensitive as logic. If America continues to rely on such humanistic views as hers, it's going to become just what the hearts of many citizens are . . . morally corrupt.

Oh, and Christie . . . God is a God of Love . . . but He is also a just God.
