Police Log

    • A stolen pickup truck was recovered by Rockview state police Monday. The truck, belonging to Donald Bierly, was found in Walker Township on Township Route 467, police said.

    • A State College man was charged Sunday for trespassing on property in Milesburg Borough, Rockview state police said. Richard W. Grubb, 35, allegedly trespassed on the property of Catherine Crossly of Railroad Street in Milesburg, police said. He was placed in Centre County Courthouse in lieu of $500, police said.

    • A car stereo valued at $450 was reported taken yesterday from a Chevrolet Blazer belonging to Stocker Chevrolet, 701 Benner Pike, State College Bureau of Police Services said. The theft occurred sometime in October, police said.

    A tail-light and bumper on a Subaru also owned by the Chevrolet dealer, were damaged sometime between Tuesday and yesterday, police said. Damage is estimated at $250.

    • A coat and gloves belonging to Dawn Shannon, 108 Pennypacker, were reportedly taken sometime Sunday night from a coat room in Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, 524 Locust Lane, State College police said. Loss is estimated at $120.

    • A poster that police call racially offensive was reported hanging on the wall in the ground floor of Shields Building Tuesday, University police services said. Investigation of the incident is continuing, police said.

    • A pinball machine, valued at $200, was found on West Aaron Drive Tuesday night, near North Atherton Street, Ferguson Township police reported.
