Police Log

  • A bicycle belonging to Ron Stewart, 402 Sparks St., was reported missing from 340 E. Beaver Ave. sometime between Aug. 3 and 5, State College Bureau of Police Services said. The 15-speed mountain bike is black with green handle bars and valued at $350, police said.

  • A garage door opener belonging to William Garcia, 148 Kuhns Lane, was taken from his pickup truck while parked at his residence early Wednesday morning, State College police said. Loss is estimated at $125, police said.

  • A lawnmower belonging to Dennis Cambell, State College, was reported missing from his pickup truck while parked at the rear of 200 E. College Ave., Wednesday evening, State College police said. Loss is estimated at $119, police said.

  • Three potted plants belonging to Alma Warden, 308 W. Prospect Ave., were reported missing from her residence between Aug. 13 and 14, State College police said. Loss is estimated at $105, police said.

  • A bicycle belonging to Kevin Baker, 763 Main St., Ford City, Pa., was reported missing from a bike rack outside Osmond Lab sometime between Aug. 24 and 25, University Police Services said. Loss is estimated at $100.

  • Two detour signs were reported taken from a construction site on Burrowes Road, near the Physical Plant, sometime Wednesday night, University police said. Loss is estimated at $100, police said.
