In the 1960s, the sexual revolution encouraged sexual freedom. But in the 1980s, the AIDS epidemic is changing peoples' attitudes toward sex.

Penn State's refusal last week to pay local business privilege taxes has sparked the owners of some State College businesses to blame both the University and the tax law for causing friction between town and gown.

Jerry Covert, associate dean for undergraduate programs, has been appointed acting dean for undergraduate programs, effective July 11.

A convicted murderer and the woman who police believe aided his escape will return to Centre County on Thursday to face the charges they accumulated during their two-year long flight from the law.

For volleyball fans across the state, yesterday's Mizuno/Pizza Hut East-West All-Star Classic was a chance to see the 20 best graduating high school seniors in Pennsylvania display their skills.

As United States Olympic Academy XII came to a close, the participants looked forward not only to Seoul, but to an increase in Olympic participation and understanding.
