What a week to be greek," members of Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils say as they sponsor a series of fun-filled events promoting greek pride this week.

Some student leaders will confront University President Bryce Jordan and other officials today about the problems facing Penn State black students in an open forum meeting in the Paul Robeson Cultural Center.

Despite gusting winds and the threat of snow, about 300 University graduate students, undergraduates and faculty members participated in Friday afternoon's rally on the Old Main lawn protesting the taxation and underfunding of higher education.

A crew from CBS Evening News in New York will be interviewing Seth Williams today for national broadcast tonight.

Even though the streets of State College were full of Psi Phi 500 runners and race onlookers Saturday, State College Bureau of Police Services said only 10 citations for open container law violations and one citation for underage drinking were issued during the race.

Both hitting and fielding failed the softball team as it dropped a doubleheader to defending Atlantic 10 champion Massachusetts yesterday at Lady Lion Field.

Throughout the season, the men's gymnastics team knew that its youth would either make or break its season.

It was business as usual for the men's volleyball team this weekend in Rec Hall.

The women's lacrosse team used a balanced attack and stingy defense to score a convincing 16-2 victory against Lehigh on Saturday and raise its record to 8-3.
