Homecoming means more than football, parades and alumni reunions for staff members at The Daily Collegian. It also means it's time for a friendly competition between the News and Business divisions in the form of the annual Collegian Van Decorating Contest. Problem is, in recent years it hasn't resulted in much of a competition.

In 2004-05, once again the Business Division won going away when staff members decorated one of the newspaper's delivery vans with a theme that highlighted a contest running in the newspaper called The Daily Dose. The van chosen as best decorated gets the honors of leading the Collegian contingent in the Homecoming Parade.
